       -Insulin is what turns the food we eat into the energy our bodies use!

Do you know someone who has diabetes? Or maybe you've been out to eat and have seen someone poking their finger? Diabetes affects over 30 million people in the United States. There are different types of diabetes, and there is no cure.

Having diabetes means constantly checking blood sugar levels, counting carbs, and calculating insulin dosages. It's a lot of work!
